Which formats are accepted?

Image file types (JPEG, PNG) or PDF that are imported can be recognized.

Why is scaling the plan necessary?

When importing the file, the image size does not always correspond to the actual size. Scaling allows obtaining elements that will be correctly sized.

Which kind of plans can be detected?

The AI has been trained on building architectural plans and is not operating efficienclty on MEP or HVAC plans.

Which elements are detected?

The add-in will detect and create walls, windows, doors, slabs and rooms.

Can you detect walls with multiple layers?

Walls will be designed as single-layer element.

Does the detection step order matter?

Only the wall creation needs to be achieved first. Further detections (openings, slabs, spaces) require walls with correct geometry.

Troubleshoot

A warning message indicates that the plan size is too large.

If the actual size of the plan exceeds 100 meters, a message is displayed to check if the plan scale is correct to avoid detection errors or inconsistent results.
